Let your light shine through! [to S(WNP)]

I was processing this exposure bracketing as a therapy for my soul, i.e. slowly, savouring every detail and every step of the process. Then I had news from a Flickr friend of mine and they make me decide to finish and post it sooner than planned, with a dedication to her. So it is here, and the fact that it is linked in my mind to a very specific person should not prevent everyone else to hopefully enjoy it - which is the most precious reward I can hope to get.

For details about the location and occasion of the shot, please refer to The Core.

The buildings in the background are the sad remains of an old, disused farmstead.

I have obtained this picture by blending a 5-exposure bracketing [-2.0/-1.0/0/+1.0/+2.0 EV] by luminosity masks with the Gimp (EXIF data, as usual, refer to the "normal exposure" shot), then I added some final touches with Nik Color Efex Pro 4. I tried the inverted RGB blue channel technique described by Boris Hajdukovic as a possible final contribution to the processing, which especially improved the ploughed field in the foreground.

RAW files processed with Darktable.
