THE 18TH CENTURY "ROLLS ROYCE"
Kalesa is a horse-drawn carriage used during 1700s as mode of transportation in the Philippines at the time when Spanish occupied our country. At that time, only noble and rich people can ride on calesa. Today, calesa can be experienced be ordinary Filipinos and foreign travelers calesa through places like Intramuros in Manila, and Vigan in Ilocos Sur where Spanish heritage is still rich.
