Vintage Plate

Daily Shoot - Make a photograph of something old. Be sure to show us the character that age can give a subject.

 

I have a 'thing' for china. I have several sets of my own, as well as bits and pieces from my grandmother and mother. This lone plate of my grandmother's survived my pre-renovation kitchen purge. It doesn't match anything; I don't use it; but I can't let it go. It makes me feel connected to the other women in my family who also loved it.
