Shhh! Can You Hear Them Falling?

It's a good thing it's looking like it's going to be a very long winter, because before it's over, I intend to master photographing snow in all its many moods!
The really tough part is to avoid the blue overcast. I shot this very warm - at 12,000 K. I also bumped up the exposure compensation. I picked a tree branch that had another branch in the background, so there would be some contrast. I kind of have the mood right, but it doesn't 'sing'. I'll keep trying. Since winter hasn't officially started yet, it looks like I'll have lots of time to experiment. Any suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated :-)
