56/365 La pasta di nonna

Ok, my Grandma didn't actually make this, but the reason I buy this, is because these egg noodles (called pappardelle) totally remind me of her handmade pasta. I learned from her how to make egg noodles from scratch, and I am actually able to roll this stuff out by hand with a rolling pin. Although that is not a skill I use too often! :-)

 

These are great with a knob of butter melted on top while still hot, and some freshly grated parmesan, and chopped parsley, if you have some lying around in the fridge.

 

I used a texture created by pareeerica to disguise the colour of my countertop. Thanks Erica! :-)
