Ink & Pen lighttest - August 1 2015

Testing a variety of inks and pens for lightfastness. Original chart was drawn on July 20th and this first comparison done on August 1st. Chart was placed in a South (slight south-west) position. The center of each band was wet with a water brush to show both bleed and lightfastness when wet.

 

1-6 were inked from a pen and 7-32 were inked using a dipped stick.

8: Unknown Red Mix from samples (very slight fading)

9: Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake Orange (very slight fading)

10: Diamine Red Dragon (slight fading)

11: Noodler's Operation Overlord Orange (slight fading)

12: Caran d'Ache Infra-red (no notable change)

13: Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel (very slight fading)
