20220705 Praying Mantis on a Wild Rose
This is a very tiny praying mantis - probably less than an inch long, which I spotted on my walk this morning in the San Joaquin Marsh. I actually went to check on the osprey and saw two adults and I think two chicks. Unfortunately they were too far away for me to get a good shot. I'm happy with the praying mantis, though.
