They will share their findings online with Warden Park students Alisha Burman and Maddy Fry who are doing the same experiment as part of a shared curriculum project.

Little Flower Convent School in Chennai, India, has a partnership with Warden Park Secondary School in West Sussex. The relationship between the two schools is one of 1800 partnerships between schools in the UK and developing countries, funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).

The growing scheme, DFID Global School Partnerships (DGSP), aims to help young people learn about global issues like climate change and social justice, so that they are able to make informed decisions about their joint future.

DFID aims to increase the numbers of UK schools involved in global partnerships from 1800 to 5000 by April 2012. If you want to know more about DFID Global School Partnerships, or want to form one, please go to www.dfid.gov.uk/discoveryzone
