I cant believe I hadnt uploaded this image before now.

I shot this May 30th in the hight of my Epson R-D1 shooting phase. Ive gone trhough a lot of cameras this year let alone film. I just with I had grabbed this on slide film, because its a jpg image not RAW, and I think its a little flat.

I sot it on the corner of Virginia and 5th in downtown Seattle, which is a no flash corner at the start of the summer in the early evenings.

I had the R-D1 and my stock 15mm which becomes a 21mm. I was walking by and out of the corner of my eye I saw this very tall young girl, bound accross the street, what a glide! I back handed the camera, and felt the shutter go, this happened. That 15mm is is the only anti-focus lens for rangefinder, that and maybe the 12mm. It was probably wide open because there is considerable vignetting.

Ive been showcasing this image along with a few others over the summer and have had a lot of interest in my work recently.

I think this is one of my most exciting and favorite street images.

I hope you like it too.
