Of all the presentations I’ve attended here thus far, I enjoyed this one, by Professor Mark Willman, the most. We will very likely never be able to travel such long distances, Dr. Willman tells us. The point of astronomy, then, is perhaps to remind us how precious the Earth is, and why we should take better care of this one planet we all share and live on.
