King Tut . . .
. . . This male Ruby-Throated Hummingbird is flashing his colorful neck at me, but really he is showing off for other Hummingbirds in the area. He chased several other females and younger birds away from the feeder as I watched.
This time of year the birds hit the feeders hard because in a few weeks they will have a thousand mile migration ahead of them.
