I nearly fulfilled the retro challenge I'd set for the members of the 'Theme of The Day' group - "in one day you're only allowed to take one shot and that is your image for the day"... Allowing yourself just one shot really focusses the mind!!!
and for 45 minutes this was going to be my only shot of the day,
but!!!!
We were at the Devon Country Fayre for the English National Sheepdog Trials
and I succumbed and took a few more ;o)
George Pile, a young local falconer, gave a superb and incredibly informative display with his fabulous birds - more of them over at ipernity!
(as the background is 2/3rds black I'm including it in the black challenge for ODC, fair amount of black in those feathers too ;o)
