South West Reading Passport - St Thomas Library
St Thomas Library's wonderful display for this summer's South West Reading Passport Scheme, which is to record and review books from the seven continents with the aim of entering the review for the chance of winning a £300 book token and free suitcase.To create this display I visited several local charity shops in my lunch hour to search for an old (vintage) suitcase. I found one that had been thrown out so needed cleaning and drying out. Once dry I stuck on vintage travel labels. A quick look around the library to gather some relevant books and some suitable material from home and voilà a great display. We have already run out of our passports and have had to order more, so a great take-up so far.
