Newton Abbot 2nd floor: 'Susan Passmore'
Pre-construction Phase: top floor. Previously known as the 'Susan Passmore Room', this classroom will be used as an activity room by the learning disability support service in the daytime and will be an adult learning room in the evenings. It will have improved storage facilities, new furniture, an interactive whiteboard, better lighting, heating and decor.
This photo was taken in the process of stripping everything out - noticeboards, furniture, etc. The carpet has been pulled up to assess the floor condition and there is a hole in the wall where asbestos testing has been undertaken. All surplus furniture was donated to local charities.
