A Promising day on George Lake, near Hawk Ridge, South La Cloche Mountain Range, Killarney
George Lake is most folks first exposure to the epic landscape of Killarney, and with this setting a rhythm for many subsequent visitations. I hoped in August to see the landscape dusted in snow, lakes frozen and the dramatic change in mood winter provides. Mid February proved the most promising, and this day was one of two days that proved ideal conditions for my photography.
