Holy Sh!t II

4 - 6 inches were forecast, no big deal. When I got up at 5 it was obvious we received a LOT more! All the trees in my yard were bowing over they were so ladened with wet, heavy snow. There were a LOT of branches down too. We headed out early, it took a while to wrap our heads around the monumental task of moving that much snow, over a foot! Then the calls started coming in... trees and limbs down, roads impassable. We quit moving snow and started cutting trees and clearing roads. Then the calls started coming in...power out in the entire town, pole or tree on fire, 4 sanitary pump stations out of power. Generators kept 2 of them running. Power was restored, all roads and trees were cleared, the towns transfer station is ready to go for the Saturday rush :-)
