Remote Control

My latest photographic gadget is ControlMyNikon, a computer program that remotely controls your camera for live view focusing and triggering and SO much more with your laptop (tethered shooting). It’s going to take a LONG time for me to wrap my head around this but it should really help with my macro and still life photography. Once I figure that out I hope to try some focus stacking and maybe even star trails. It’s a lot cheaper than a new lens or other similar tethering products, thanks for the tip Jayme, I’ll gladly buy you a beer!

This was my first experience connecting the camera, I was able to get a shot off and Lola was able to photobomb me :) I was trying to capture the screen image and the camera in the mirror but didn’t quite get it.
