Ambush - Survivors

Mission log 05, operation Thunder Clap - (Acting) Captain Nqobizitha Jones

 

All has not gone well, privates Daniels and Atshumao have been KIA

Myself, Lt. Corporal Khumalo and private Singh have escaped the crash site. Evacuating under heavy fire from enemy insurgents.

We managed to drag Captain Williams clear where he promoted me in the field however he has since died of his wounds from the transport crash. A stray splinter from an enemy round caught him and caused internal bleeding.

 

We have begun retreat to company headquarters and I have requested fire support from company HQ.

Currently we have enough rations, water and field dressings to survive the hike back to our lines however with the strong insurgent presence in the area it is unknown if these rations will hold.

Let's hope it doesn't end up like that American classic Lone Survivor.

 

This log shall serve as testament to our ultimate demise should we not make it out alive.
