2nd D-8 Renewable Energy Meeting
The 2nd Meeting of the D-8 Working Committee on Renewable Energy was successfully held from 16-17 November 2011 in Bali, Indonesia. The Meeting, attended by all D-8 member countries, was hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia and also attracted active participation from private sectors in the renewable energy sector.
During the first meeting in Ankara last year, potential project and technical assistance proposals for further promotion of cooperation in this field were made. In this second meeting in Bali, Indonesia, the progress and explore future development and wider cooperation were among the topics elaborated by the participants.
