The "Stage" Is Set ( Former Michigan Theater in Detroit)

( EXPLORED! ) Built in 1926 by Architects Rapp & Rapp, this former theater was one of the largest in the Midwest, seating 4050 people. In the 50's, it was one of the first to show 3-D movies. The theater closed in 1970 and became a place for live rock concerts. In 1976 it closed again and was turned into one of the most unique and beautiful parking garages you'll ever see. This view, taken on the 3rd floor of the parking garage, is facing the near 4 story tall stage. The building has a historical plaque, not related to the theater, as it was the location where Henry Ford built his first car.
