Photograph taken at an altitude of Thirty one metres at 10:18am following a Southeastern Network train from Bexleyheath to London Bridge station at 07:53am on Tuesday 13th April 2021.
Here we stand, where several great roads collide, A3 The Strand, The Mall, A4 Cockspur Road, Northumberland Avenue and Whitehall, in Trafalgar Square, looking upwards towards William Railton's iconic statue of Lord Horatio Nelson, built between 1840-1843. Central London, England.
Nelson, born 29th September 1758, became 1st Viscount and 1st Duke of Bronte KB and was killed on 21st October 1805 in his final victory in the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. He is buried with honours in St Paul's Cathedral.
