ROXY.... THE 'OTHER' WOMAN IN MY LIFE
Meet 'ROXY', the 'other' woman in my life, and my much loved and totally dependable car that whisks me all over the country, to and from airports and generally cossets my bones in my photographic endeavours.
Roxy is a Rover CDTi Connoisseur SE automatic, born on February 3rd 2003 at Longbridge, and built by BMW in the days when they owned Rover. She is powered by a BMW designed and built M47R 2.0Litre turbo diesel, and is chipped and tuned to 190bhp thanks to a factory remap and a tuning box that provides me with pace to match her grace. Made in the days when quality and design took preference over cost cutting and outsourcing to cheap labour regions of the world, Real wooden interior, Pearlescent paint, Meteor alloys, heated electric memory seats and enough bells and whistles to keep me entertained, she was built to last and I have been her proud owner now for seven years, She is the finest car that I have ever owned, and transports my Nikon professional equipment wherever I need to be. I have now covered almost 120,000 enjoyable miles in her and every journey is an absolute pleasure.
T'is love for sure. Here you see her pictured on the shoreline of Loch Cluanie on a trip to the Isle of Skye and the Cairngorms in Scotland and Whitby North Yorkshire on the way home, earlier this year.

It is a reservoir, contained behind the Cluanie Dam, constructed by Mitchell Construction and completed in 1957 as a part of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board's Glenmoriston project to generate Hydroelectricity.
