CATCH MY FALL
Photograph taken at 10:34am on Tuesday 10th September 2013 at an altitude of One hundred and fifty six metres overlooking Bracklinn Falls, just East of Callander in the Trossachs, Scotland. Flanked by the Allt a Choire Bhric, the River Keltie flows over the rocks which were formed around 410 million years ag. The falls consist of five cataracts which range from around 6ft to about 25ft.
In 2004, a steel bridge over the falls was washed away by floods. In October 2010 a new, 20-tonne wood-and-copper one, spanning 20m across a very deep gorge, was hauled into place by hand because its location made it impossible to use a crane. In July 2011 this new bridge was awarded at the International Footbridge Awards
