Swipe to Scroll (Split View)

Having various scrollable (swipe-able) panes that can scroll independently is a powerful way to add lots of virtual space in the interface.

This of course could have been done with scrollbars in a standard interface but the addition of scrollbars really clutters the interface. Removing scrollbars frees up the interface to add lots of places for this type of interaction (also removes need for carousel type arrows).
