Origami Diamond Bridge (Miyuki Kawamura)
Perhaps you will think: What?...... even more...?! And then I have to admit: "Yes, i folded even more units .........with a small difference".
Here you see an overview of the origami Diamond Bridge models, the big sister of the "Diamond Bridge 90", which I showed yesterday (see first comment if you missed it).
The difference lies in a few other creases that gives the unit a more pointed shape. If you then join at least 3 units together a point of a star is created. Furthermore, because of this different point shape, it is possible to ensemble more units together.
In the first horizontal row the model that arises with 6 units.
The second row shows two possibilities the 12 units version. The grey ones show two 'faces' of the 3 units connection for the star point and the green one has a 4 units connection.
The third row shows two possibilities the 30 units version. The yellows show the two 'faces' of the 3 units connection for the star point and the orange one has the 5 units connection.
Paper size one unit 7,5x15cm.
Final size:
6 units: diameter 11cm
12 units: diameter 13cm
30 units: diameter 15cm
Model: origami "Diamond Bridge"
Design: Miyuki Kawamura
