1. I’m left-handed, Chinese, born and raised in Southern California.
2. I just graduated from high school as valedictorian of a class of about a thousand seniors, and I made a motivational speech about the future in front of about ten thousand spectators.
3. I’ve been playing drums since fifth grade, and I absolutely love it. This year my school’s percussion ensemble competed in Ohio and placed sixth in the nation.
4. I love the color yellow. Half of my closet is filled with yellow clothes.
5. I seriously can’t live without music. Besides drums, I also play piano and guitar, and I’ve tried my hand at composing and recording some songs. I love being poetic and writing lyrics about people I love.
6. As of now I haven’t had any trouble with academics. I got a perfect score on my PSAT, nearly perfect score on my SAT, and 5’s on twelve AP exams. But I listen to music and doodle in class and never study.
7. One of my favorite books is The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, which is apparently really controversial, but I try to live by its themes. I think the most important things in life are your work and your beliefs, and you should never let go of your sense of self.
8. I still don’t know what I want to major in, but it’ll probably be Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Design.
9. Before photography, I spent almost all my time creating and editing films. I think I need my life to be dramatic, artsy, and meaningful.
10. I think most people who only know me by the things I’ve done think I’m arrogant and conceited, and they don’t really take the time to get to know me. Hopefully you don’t do that because I’m a really nice and easygoing guy, and I would love to get to know you!
