Lupins at Lake Wanaka

Looking back on two weeks of NZ pics, most were taken in 'flat' lighting situations much like this. We often saw amazing cloud formations, but often those clouds blocked the light at the times we wanted to capture a scene. And we didn't have enough time to wait. Never bothered with a flash. But this might have benefited from one. Still I think there's no substitute for natural light in the right places.
