Maximus the Siberian Tiger Cub

I have had the privilege doing a few photo shoots with this very handsome model over the past month and a half, and I am looking forward to shooting some more in the future. This image is from my first session a month and a half ago. He was 51 days old and 19lbs. When last I saw him he was 38 lbs, doubling his weight in only 6 weeks!
The only thing more amazing than the beauty of these creatures is their strength and speed. Even as a slightly clumsy cub less then 3 months old Maximus can go from crouched in the bushes to full speed in about two strides.
I hope he remembers me fondly when he has grown...
