Boss
As seen in the British Museum.
The inscription says:
"Boss, 1985
By Hamada Chimei (born 1917)
Hamada is best known as a print artist. He
came to sculpture quite late, at the age of 65,
and has described the childlike pleasure of
playing with clay to create the models for his
bronzes. 'Boss' the large monkey balancing on
an unstable pile of chairs, develops an earlier
print theme of a howling monkey on top of a
pyramid of human figures.
