Ducks At Dusk / Sapphire Mountains

The last rays of the sun have abandoned the pond and the lower landscape here at the Metcalf Wildlife Refuge in Stevensville, MT.

But the snow-covered Sapphire Mountains are still enjoying the last bright light of day. Once again, this scene is in western Montana, right up against the Idaho border, an absolutely lovely place to call home.
