I was doing some research this morning, and the forcast for the next week seems about the same everywhere in the surrounding quarter of a million square miles: rain, clouds, and more rain. But I guess it's good every once in a while to stop and remember that in the bad old days of film it would not have been possible to spend every rainy day snapping off hundreds of frames in your backyard.
