Nordhalben Station - Upper Franconia, Germany

Yesterday was a day of heavy rainfall, I had to search some places, which combine with the really bad weather. So I decided to visit this spot at the Upper Franconian village Nordhalben. It is the old station, which is used tonight only as a heritage railway for a length of 11 kilometres on sundays and bank holidays. It was the perfect weather for this place. Nordhalben is part of the bavarian slate region, the slate waste is used here on the ground between the rails. I muted the tones of this HDR, it seemed to be the right presentation for this scene.

This pano was stitched from 4 HDR shots, each processed from 5 different exposures.
