Sulzer Mixpac Quadro Mixers

These mixers are called Quadro or also 2K mixers. They are square shaped and are distinct like the round or helix versions by the type of connection to certain cartridge systems.

 

The Sulzer Mixpac product names explained:

M stands for mixer

indicates the system: MFmeans mixer from the F-system

tells the type of mixer: MFQ means mixer from the F-system, Quadro shaped

Next is a number that indicates the diameter of the mixer: MFQ 05 has a 5mm diameter (inner)

 

The 3rd and 4th number show the number of mixing processes/elements: MFQ 05-16 means 16 mixing processes in this mixer.
