Kushti is a style of traditional Indian wrestling. It is also known as Pehlwani and the wrestlers are referred as Pehlwans. The place for practicing Kushti wrestling is called an akhada. The word "akhada" derive from the Sanskrit origin term "akhara" which means the "spiritual core".
