Exercise - Five colors

Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Rose Madder, Aureolin Yellow, Cobalt Blue

WN watercolor, 140# CP (I am not a fan of Aureolin Yellow.)

This was a continuation of Jack Reid's exercise.

What did I learn? How to lay down a glaze over a wash without disturbing the color underneath. By glazing, you can get by with less colors. Glazing gives color depth. Working with values improves a painting. Refreshed color mixtures.

This ends this series...TG...I am sick of painting this barn!
