Canis diris - dire wolf (PS)

Canis diris - the Dire Wolf, a heavily built stocky species of wolf, perhaps analagous to old world hyaenas.

 

I've amended the contrast, brightness and colour in PS and then used the poster edges tool to create the drawn effect.
