Bubble Wand
As I have said all week due to the fact that I haven't been taking too many pictures lately and as it was a week for reflections, that I would take time and reflect on the pictures I have taken over the past years and choose some that fit the theme. I was struggling to find something suitably psychedelic. The I remembered this set which was taken last year during my course for studio lighting. We had a budget of £1 to get something to shoot and I choose this rather funky bubble blowing thing - yes all for £1 folks. Anyway I took several photos with my own lens and the lecturer rather generously offered me the opportunity to shoot it with a 105 macro lens and what a difference it made. What I really love about it is the combination of colours. It's like a Jimi Hendrix experience! I love it.
I meant to post this yesterday, but we had a new floor being laid in the dining room and then I had the visit to the hospital and it was about 11 last night when I finally got round to posting it by which time I was too knackerd to write this bit and send to 7DOS. So anyways here is my Psychedlic Saturday pic.
I hope you have enjoyed my reflections as much as I have enjoyed reflecting on them.
