Demolition of four storey office block in Soho to permit re-construction of new Base2stay hotel.
About the project:
Deconstruct UK Ltd, operating from their Central London Headquarters, were called in for the demolition of a four storey office block in Soho.
Deconstruct were contracted to demolish an existing four story office block down to basement level and excavate for new construction including underpinning existing pavement vaults.
Part of this package included a structural cut and carve phase of works in the adjoining St Annes Court buildings, including the removal of stair cores and recording studios within the basement demise.
Asbestos was also removed from various areas within the structures following the survey process.
