40077 on Kings Cross - 26th August, 1981

I tried to edit this on flickr some time ago and it removed the image! Doh! Finally found the slide again whilst looking for something else, ain't it always the way!

1S72 if I've found the right diary! Gave up a Deltic to do this, much to the first wife's disgust! By way of a compromise, we got off at Doncaster and took 55022 back to 'The Cross' for 55013 back to Edinburgh!.
