NATIONAL MEMORIAL FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE

Montgomery, Alabama

Just before arriving home, in Phoenix, Arizona, I had a gallbladder attack that put me in a hospital ER for a night. That was painful. But Montgomery was so much more painful--not physically, but psychologically. I have no words to adequately describe this scene and that at the Legacy Museum. Atop this grassy knoll is a memorial to the thousands of documented lynching's committed in the United States. It is gut-wrenching, and something every person on earth should experience.

Here is a pretty good description of the scene.
