If any of you were foolish enough to read my "about" page, you will have noted that I listed my occupation as "Culture Critic." So now I'm about to live up to my reputation. There is something wrong with Americans, although I'm inclined to think it happens to some degree with many peoples, but especially those with wealth. This is a WTF product for sure. But I've seen too much advertising on the telly, featuring burgers with six patties, bacon, cheese and maybe some pistachios thrown in for good measure. And then there are the lovely pharma ads that will damn near cure everything except stupidity. Nerve pain, butt pain, gut pain, insomnia, dyspepsia, general malaise, and on and on. They've got cures for all that shit. Just listen to the shills.
And what makes people so stupid that they A. Can't be bothered with a mask, or, B. (worse IMHO) those who wear their mask below their nose seemingly unaware that germs come out of their noses?
Now I leave the building and watch as knuckle-dragger after lazy knuckle-dragger just parks the cart they were using in the empty parking space next to their vehicle, because it would take way to much effort to walk it 50 feet to the cart return space. How do a people become so lazy and inconsiderate?
I shall consult QAnon. I'm sure there is an easy answer for these mysteries and easy answers is what they have a lot of.
