Daurian Redstart (phoenicurus auroreus) 北红尾鸲
Dealing with a bad exposure and ISO 4 000 took a lot of post-work, but I was so excited to have a five-minute encounter with this dapper male redstart that I still wanted to share this on flickr. Was one of those total surprises as I went out shooting in our apartment complex for an hour before work and out of the blue, this handsome little chap showed up and I managed to get quite a few pictures of him before he flew off.
Topaz Denoise saved this image and the D500 seems to handle noise fairly well all considered.
