NS 1834, WB, WILLIAMS, AZ 6-6-2021

It was a "Holy Shit Surprise Sunday" when I got word that this guy was westbound out of Darling this morning. We had come over to Williams yesterday to do the tourist thing at Bearizona and to catch the Grand Canyon Rwy. 4960 for Steam Saturday. We spent the night so I went out for some eastbounders in early light at spots that I'm not normally in until the end of the day. With 4 trains bagged within an hour, it was time to move to the only spot with decent light for a WB at 0800. So here we have NS SD70ACC 1834, originally SD70 2513 and built in 11-1993, leading the QNYCLAC6 over Airport Rd. with a newer Tier4 and Amtrak 45 helping out. It's definitely one of the most unique consists for the Transyawn and if it ain't orange, it's a win.
