Abandoned Greenhouse No.3: Going from Outside to Outside

Doors and windows mark the boundary between outside and inside. At the same time, they're also the passageways or conduits between outside and inside.

These distinctions break down in abandoned structures—especially in this greenhouse.

What is the use of a door when plants and small trees grow inside as much as outside? What use is a window when some panes are filled with glass and the rest hold jagged shards or nothing but air?

I walked through a small field, pushed through a thicket of trees, stepped across weeds that pushed up through concrete, passed directly into the skeleton of the greenhouse, and stepped up to this door.

It was a door, but it wasn't inside or outside. Or maybe it was inside AND outside? I don't know.

What I do know is that it was magical.
