Meant To Be
Meant To Be - So We decided to go camping for the night and thought we would head to our usual site up Northumberland only to find when We got there it was fully booked. So We headed back towards Bamburgh and tried a site overlooking Budle Bay, bingo! straight on, great site owner, awesome views and only £10! Looking over the bay We could see that the sky had changed and a storm was rolling our way, quickly threw the tent up just as the first drops of rain hit us, so we took shelter in the car for 10 mins waiting for the storm to pass. Now normally after a storm You can get some great light, and tonight was no exception, the storm headed Bamburgh way and the sun started to glare from behind the storm clouds. The way the conditions were going I knew there would be a rainbow sometime soon, so We quickly drove round to Bamburgh Beach and surely enough there was the rainbow beautifully placed over the castle. Quickly jumped out of the car and grabbed the camera, no time for filters or tripod, had to catch this light and rainbow, still raining too but Lisa followed Me down onto the beach with a large brolly and kept the rain off the Camera.
So....if We had not been turned away at the first campsite We wouldnt have been at Bamburgh, wouldnt have caught the rainbow so this shot was really Meant To Be...
