State-level boxer

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can't hit what the eyes can't see." these lines by the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali are became the mantra of Smita's life. She never fitted herself into the norms made by society about how a girl should behave. She was a rebellion who always believed that these stereotypes do not exist to stops you instead they encourage women to achieve their goals. She always wanted to break such stereotypes, which brought her in the boxing ring at a very young age. And her parents acted as a support system. Winning many medals in boxing at the local level, she knew she had it in her to compete at a state level. And now, she is a state-level boxer. "My journey so far at DBGI is really amazing I have made a lot of good friends here. My mentors and faculties are extremely helpful, they make us feel so comfortable that sometimes I forget that I'm really far from home. My academics and extracurricular activities are so well maintained. I have to say, I had some of the best moments of my life here at DBGI" says, Smita.
