London Bus

This bus was at Felixstowe seafront for the Felixstowe historic vehicle rally. I don't know what the make & name of the bus is though.

austinmini1275 says:

It's an RF class AEC Regal IV (RF stands for Regal Four). The body is by Metro-Cammell. These buses were produced from 1951 to 1953. There were approximately 700 produced.

It is RF 504, it was originaly red and was painted gold in late 2001 by it`s owner to celebrate the Queen`s gloden jubilee in 02. This particular bus was amongst the last of it`s type to run in public service with London transport in the Kingston (Surrey) area in March 1979. After sale from LT it went to an owner in Guernsey before returning to the mainland to be preserved. Hopefully it will be painted into it`s correct livery soon.
