Purple Petals

I was walking about campus yesterday and happened upon a number of beautiful flowers. Such were planted to decorate a nearby pond named "Lake Ruth". I attempted to highlight the many small purple petals without flatting the round ball-like appearance of the flower itself. I believe this plant to be a type of Allium.
