Dandeloin Seed [Explored]

A haiku for the Visual Haiku Group:

dandelion seed

encourage a gentle breeze

carry you away

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments and favs!

As this photo was selected for Explore (a first for me!) it seemed prudent to share a related story:

After a WIU Photography Interest Group meeting, Steve (photographer and mentor) noticed the golden light of the setting sun gracing itself upon a group of dandelions which had gone to seed. This shot is a result of my attempt to capture the light about a half hour before sunset occurred. It seems the angle and intensity of the sunlight highlighted the fascinating iridescent quality of the dandelion seed's parachute. The seed itself is also shown in detail; revealing a rough, spike like texture, which is why the seeds have a tendency to stick to our clothes.
