GEC ZD10807
This ZD10807 has been fully restored and runs a 125w MBFU lamp. The lantern was given a full respray in gold, as when compared to the bronze colour available, looked closer to the original colour. The frosted panes in the main body of the lantern are plastic, while the lower 'windows' are glass to the same pattern. I'm not sure if this is original, but all the panes are identical so it looks correct regardless.
Plymouth used these lanterns for the lighting of The Hoe in the 1970s, and many survive today. These generally run 150w SONT lamps, although a set of 4 ran 125w on a tiered footpath area. This lantern is a replica of these examples which have sadly since been removed.
